- Bachelor's degree and current license in CTE Program area OR Masters Degree in School Counseling or Career Counseling
- One year of insdustry related work experience within the past 5 years in business, industry or labo; or as a coordinator or work-based learning; or as a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Advisor
- Must be eligible for the CTE Career Development Coordinator license #747. 6 semester hours (3 in Counseling theory and 3 elective in Career Development and Counseling, Career and Life Planning or Career Development and occupational information) FCS Course is offered through NC Works Training Center or NCDPI to fulfill this requirement.
