General Foundry position
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS, and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Grind off any rough edges or burrs on cast iron pipe and fittings
- Inspect cast iron pipe / fittings and sand cores for defects
- Use a metal file to scrape rough edges or burrs off of sand cores
- Water test and bundle cast iron pipe
- Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform all job duties
- Work effectively and efficiently with coworkers
