Charlotte Pipe and Foundry , located in Maize, KS , is looking for an Molding and Extrusion Supervisor. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. Summary :
Will supervisor the operation of all injection molding processes and extrusion processes on crew to ensure quality products are produced as efficiently as possible. Complete daily production reports, monitor change overs and setups of machines to ensure minimal scrap is produced. Train new associates in the molding and extrusion process.
General Job Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Computer proficiency to include timekeeping and work order system
- Knowledge of molding and extrusion process
- Complete payroll requirements and production requirements
- Supervise tool & die repair, molding and QC
- Assist on all experimental runs (matl., equip., etc.)
- Train operators
- Assist in training new set-up and instruct personnel
- Assist in training new grinders and utilities
- Communicate repair of equipment to maintenance personnel
- Supervise associates
- Maintain a safe department to comply with all required safety mandates
- Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Manager
