Job Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor will manage plant maintenance operations, focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost control. This role involves overseeing a skilled team, scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring quality service, and managing equipment maintenance tasks. The supervisor will also use SAP for work orders and inventory tracking, and maintain proactive partnerships with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team.
- Ensure a safe and effective working environment.
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Use SAP for work order creation, inventory management, and equipment tracking.
- Provide reports on downtime and equipment issues.
- Foster strong relationships with operations personnel and promote excellent customer service.
- Maintain storeroom, shop, and CMMS.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree 3 years, or Bachelor's 1-year experience.
- Experience in plant maintenance operations, ideally within food manufacturing or similar high-volume industrial environments, is essential.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree 2 years or Master’s degree in a related field.
- SAP experience.
- Experience leading teams and understanding production operations.
- PI&D and tech manual reading.
Physical Demands & Environment:
- Exposure to potentially hazardous conditions in manufacturing and warehouse environments.
- Requires wearing PPE and working in temperature-controlled and uncontrolled areas.
- Occasional sedentary work and frequent verbal interaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
