Full-Time Nanny in Dilworth for a 5-Year-Old and an 18-Month-Old

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Dilworth in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 5-year-old and 18-month-old sons. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm (45 hours)

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, nurturing, patient, kind, and experienced caring for multiple children. The family is looking for a nanny who will create a learning environment incorporating structure to prepare their 5-year-old for kindergarten in the Fall. It would be a plus if the nanny had an educational background. Currently, their 5-year-old goes to half-day preschool 5 days a week, and the 18-month-old will start half-day preschool in the fall for two to three days a week. It will be the nanny's responsibility to do school drop-off and pick-up. When the children are not in school, the nanny should plan engaging and enriching activities to keep them active and entertained. These should include reading, arts and crafts, building with toys, visiting playgrounds and museums, participating in age-appropriate classes, and community activities. Keeping an open line of communication is important to the family to maintain a consistent understanding of schedules, routines, and any changes regarding the children. Both parents occasionally work from home in designated offices, the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect proper work-from-home boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include :

Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority) :

Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

Children’s meal prep, it would be a plus if the nanny could do light meal prep for the parents

Unloading / loading the dishwasher

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

Picking up after the nanny and children throughout the day

Emptying diaper pail

Pets :

The family has two very loving dogs, a Lab and a Husky Shepard mix. The nanny would be asked to let them into the backyard throughout the day and keep their water bowl full.

Qualifications :

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Legal pay is offered at $27-$30 an hour, depending on experience
