What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant/Bookkeeper position at CHART Rehabilitation of Hawaii?
Roles and Responsibilities:
Office will handle daily posting and basic reconciliation but will pass data to bookkeeper for month end close activities. Including:
- PMIS (legacy billing software) - revenue reporting
- TeamPraxis (RCM vendor) - revenue reporting
- COGS OPEX reporting
- Closing General Ledger books, any outstanding accounting or QuickBooks entries manage Chart of Accounts (QB)
- Any other reconciliation needed
Update and send out monthly financial statements. Prepare monthly reporting, including:
- Monthly P&L
- Back-up reports and supporting information to CPA and Executive Management
Include summary of billing cycle (month) performance. Include variance data and explanations for a review with management.
Oversee manage AR, COGS OPEX, and escalate cooncerns, risks, opportunities r threats.
Serves as main point of contact for CPA and Executive Management for data, information, and research.
Qualifications / Skills:
· Accounting experience
· Able to generate P&L, basic accounting reports
· Work with CPA Management with clear communication
· Work with Office Manager on data needs and supporting documentation
· Attention to detail, critical thinking, organization, excellent communication, numeracy, and time management
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
· CPA is a plus
· Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
· Proficiency in use of MS Office applications.
· Must have QuickBooks knowledge.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
