JOB SUMMARY:
Assemble and build Mechanism’s for Sleeper Sofa’s and 3460 Product Lines in the assembly department through the use of hand, automatic and pneumatic tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Ø Inspect parts, before and after sub-assembly.
Ø Retrieve any parts needed for the execution of the sub-assembly.
Ø Build sub-assemblies with knowledge of understructures by style number.
Ø Maintain acceptable flow of units to be processed.
Ø Accountable for accuracy, quality, waste and quantity of assigned duties.
Ø Safe use of all tools and equipment used to perform the duties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
N/A
QUALIFICATIONS or EXPERIENCE:
Ø Must have basic knowledge of assembly.
Ø Ability to read/understand specification requirements
Ø Knowledge of pneumatic hand tools
Ø Must know how to measure accurately
Ø Ability to lift or move heavy products
Ø High school diploma
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
· Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel and crouch.
· Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 60lbs.
