As a Maintenance Manager your responsibilities will be:
- Supervises Maintenance Technicians by preparing for and conducting performance evaluations, making hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendations; and ensuring that Technicians are trained in complex maintenance activities and are following standard operating procedures.
- Monitors and participates in operations in assigned sections including inspecting projects, developing, and recommending modifications and improvements to equipment, and in inspective contractor’s work to ensure that safe work practices and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Review monthly financial reports and makes recommendations for action.
- Setup and manage Asset information, creates and manages Work Orders and Preventative Maintenance activities in MVP.
- Collaborate with plant management to implement data driven maintenance approaches.
- Monitors and leads purchasing activities. Monitors and tracks to control spare parts inventories and critical spare inventories.
- Actively participates in the equipment repair process and the assembly of new equipment.
- Answers questions and provides information and assistance related to projects including resolving problems, handling complaints and providing technical expertise in the area of assignment.
- Maintaining acceptable inventory levels for stocked maintenance materials as well as ordering custom materials when needed.
- Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of the facilities HVAC systems and chiller system.
- Lead, train, coach and support maintenance employees.
A strong Maintenance Manager will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 5-7 years of leadership experience in maintenance or engineering.
- Work safely following all safety rules.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Adapts quickly to change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Available for occasional unscheduled on-call requirements.
- Available to travel for training, conferences, and/or plant visits.
- Ability to operate different types of PIVs (forklift, powered pallet jack, etc.).

- Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
- Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
- Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
