As a Production Manager your responsibilities will be:
1. Lead and Develop Teams
- Responsible for managing supervisor team
- Drive team performance through coaching, training, and development
- Partner with HR on headcount management, disciplinary actions, and engagement
- Exemplify company values while fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
- Serve as primary point of contact for conflict resolution and change management
2. Manage Daily Operations
- Coordinate daily production activities and workflow optimization
- Oversee shift operations to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
- Review and maintain production schedules, including resource allocation and setup verification
- Control production capacity, equipment utilization, and manpower distribution
3. Drive Performance Improvement
- Analyze KPIs and production data to identify and implement operational improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
- Adapt manufacturing processes based on changing conditions and demands
- Maintain efficient production schedules while minimizing costs and downtime
4. Ensure Safety and Communication
- Promote and participate in safety programs to maintain a secure working environment
- Provide regular updates to team members on performance, company news, and improvement areas
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to optimize manufacturing processes
- Facilitate effective two-way communication between team members and management
A strong Production Manager will possess:
- Associates degree (required) or bachelor’s (preferred) in related field preferred. Ten years equivalent management or supervisory experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong team oriented professional with good interpersonal skills who is hands-on with a high energy approach to work.
- Proficiency in the use of PC and programs, particularly Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written) both to senior management, customers, and associates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

- Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
- Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
- Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
