Work : Monday & Tuesday – Off : Wednesday & Thursday – Work : Friday, Saturday, & SundayOff : Monday & Tuesday – Work : Wednesday & Thursday – Off : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday12-hour static shifts (Nights – 6 : 00pm – 6 : 00am)Compensation :
Starting wage ranges from $29.00-$32.00 dependent upon experience2.50 shift differentialWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU :
You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to :
Work with state-of-the-art, multimillion dollar technologyCollaborate with teammates to achieve production and safety goalsEnsures plant is operating safely and all safety precautions are being taken by employees.Responsible for the management of a shift of employees by assigning responsibilities, delegating tasks and responsibilities and training and development for employees.Promotes an inclusive workplace culture.Motivates, supports, and provides guidance to production staff.Assures quality and maximum operating conditions.Proven safety habits, leadership abilities, proven professional behavior, reliable and dependableSound team-based job performance with good interpersonal skills and a decisive focus on the development of others.Conducts performance evaluations and makes recommendations of assigned staff at the discretion of the Production Manager.Oversees shift to ensure production is running lean and staying on schedule.Performs daily audits and reports any issues in a timely matter.Promote continual KPI improvements and active contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.Continuous Improvement mindset. Drive projects and team to excellence.Other duties as assigned.OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS :
Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activitiesFollows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processesCarry out job / area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalismLook for, report, and correct any near misses / unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possibleProduce quality materials to be distributed to customersMaintain production volume and efficiencyIdentify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better wayTroubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when neededOUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Proven leadership abilityBachelor’s degree or equivalent job experienceLean manufacturing experience preferredAdditional education in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Management related field preferred.Strong communication skillsThree to five years in progressively responsible positions required.Physical Work and Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and / or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature / humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.Are our values a match for you?
