Responsibilities:
- Perform night audit functions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions
- Prepare reports summarizing daily operations and financial activities
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations during the night shift
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in night audit or hospitality management preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and reservation systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Excellent phone etiquette and familiarity with phone systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, especially if able to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Proficient in using computer software for data entry, report generation, and email communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping

Overnight availability is a requirement 11pm - 7am
- Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Reconcile accounts from end of day
- Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Help prepare for forecasts and audits
- Checking in guests and handling their overnight requests
- Handling account reconciliation
- Complete all end of day tasks
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Maintaining & stocking of any and all food & beverage items
- Folding towels to assist laundry when slow
- Maintain clean lobby and always make sure coffee is hot
- Assist with breakfast on slow occupancy days.-
- Perform night audit functions to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and guest records
- Verify and balance revenue and settlements, including credit card transactions
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departments
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process as needed

- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is highly desirable
- Knowledge of front desk operations and hotel management software is beneficial
- Proficiency in using phone systems and providing excellent phone etiquette
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations and provide exceptional guest services
