As a School Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping the School Operations Administrator keep complete, confidential, accurate, and systematic set of records for all the financial, operational, and HR functions at the school level.
How You Will Impact Education
Instruction / Education Responsibilities
- Files and maintains financial records and help the School Operations Administrator prepare monthly financial statements.
- Makes bank deposits in accordance with company policy.
- Submits documentation for all receipts and disbursements made at the school level on a timely basis.
- Monitors balances of school-based checking accounts.
- Follows up on outstanding checks of school-based checking accounts. Assist payroll in resolving outstanding payroll checks.
- Follows up and collects returned checks received on a timely basis.
- Reviews expenditure invoices with school Principal and School Operations Administrator with his / her approval.
- Assist in all personnel in completing Human Resources ("HR") paperwork, including but not limited to, new employee paperwork, benefit applications, Payroll information, etc.
- Enters new hire information into Student Information System (SIS) and Time & Attendance systems in ADP; maintains employee data in both systems.
- Reviews entries to time and attendance system for accuracy. Makes corrections when necessary as the time and attendance system administrator, and ensures proper authorization of the correction.
- Reviews payroll register presented by Payroll Department to authorize processing of payroll.
- Assists the HR Department in setting up and executing open enrollments and other Benefit meetings.
- Coordinates employee family status changes and collects the appropriate paperwork for timely submission to HR Department.
- Coordinates requests by employees for FMLA, Short-term and Long-term disability by forwarding employee requests to HR and assisting employees in completing paperwork, if necessary.
- Receives equipment and materials and arranges for distribution to the proper department.
