Base Salary Range: $25.67 - $36.60 USD hourly.
Salary is determined based on applicable experience and education. External offers typically do not exceed the mid-point of the pay range.

Purpose of Job:
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing workforce support services as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains credentialing files and updates information in appropriate database.
Performs credentialing, privileging and re-credentialing of Licensed Independent Practitioners, Other Licensed or Certified Practitioners, and Other Clinical Staff.
Communicates with appropriate staff and outside organizations regarding status of applications.
Ensures provider licensure and certifications remain current by running reports and following up as needed.
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to scanning, electronic filing and reception coverage.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment.
Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Experience in provider credentialing required. Knowledge of legal requirements affecting credentialing and human resources functions preferred. Experience working in human resource information system preferred.
Skills: Computer skills required. Excellent organization and follow-up skills required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality required. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress and changing priorities required. Valid drivers’ license and insurance required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, use vision, stand, sit and be mobile. The employee will use hands to finger, handle or feel. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
