JOB SUMMARY:
This full-time position will provide oversight and leadership to the Woodbridge Campus Student Ministry.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide directional leadership in all elements of executing the Woodbridge Campus Student Ministry
- Work with the Campus Pastor and Engage Team Next Gen Pastor to develop and implement Woodbridge Campus Student ministry strategy
- Help leaders go grow personally and in their leadership beyond their role
- Develop volunteer organizational structure, recruiting, training, and developing leaders
- Coordinate and oversee execution of weekly ministry activities
- Work with other campus student ministries to align with the Chase Oaks student ministry purpose and values and to adapt programming as it applies to the Woodbridge Campus
- Work with the Woodbridge Campus team to plan and develop training modules for leaders in their specific area of service
- Operate ministry area in keeping with approved budget
- Have a physical presence during weekend services to connect with volunteers, parents, and kids
- Participate in campus staff meetings and assist Campus Pastor in any overall direction for the campus
- Be an active participant in student ministry related activities
- Pursue an active, growing relationship with Christ
- Invest in college-aged students as well (includes plugging them into small group and service opportunities with high school / middle school students)
CHASE OAKS STAFF PASTOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commit to doing ministry as a team; develop interdependence among team members and be authentic with team members
- Participate in and take responsibility for the execution of the Ministry Team planning process
- Demonstrate consistent lifestyle and be of strong character
- Participate in Pastor-of-the-Week duties
- Be available to perform sacerdotal functions (i.e., weddings, funerals, communion, and baptisms)
- Regularly attend and participate in staff and pastoral meetings and/or leadership development opportunities
- Be available to assist other ministries and pastors with special projects or by handling specific assignments and non-routine matters

- Communicator. Requires an approachability and ability to effectively communicate in all three realms: one-on-one, groups, and even the church as a whole. This position requires relationship building with staff, parents and students.
- Pastor. Has a heart for people and the ability to have teams and systems and personal space to care for people. Passion for groups and seeing people connect.
- Carrier of DNA. Protects the unity and identity of Chase Oaks Church at their campus.
EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EDUCATION DESIRED
- Minimum of college degree along with one year of theological education (Examples: College, Seminary, Open Bible Academy, BSF, etc.).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The role will supervise the Student Ministry resident and a core leadership team of volunteers.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required. High attention to customer service.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email
- Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Data entry skill & experience - Familiarity with databases
