Staff Accountant / Greenville, SC
Pay : $60K - $28.85 Per Hour
Hours : 8 : 30am – 5pm (M-F)

Summary :
Full responsibility of assisting the Controller of the company with day-to-day accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations
Job Responsibilities :
- All duties of Accounts Payable to include reconciliation of payables to purchase orders and entering invoices to system.
- Maintaining and scheduling all payables on a weekly basis, and processing / submitting payments to vendors. Reconciliation of all credit cards statements
- Maintaining accurate and organized records by creating and posting to the general ledger.
- Collect and maintain W9 forms and Certificate of Insurance from Vendors.
- Prepare and submit daily reports of all A / P transactions, daily bank balances, and cash receipts.
- Ability to maintain accrual accounts and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in the Accounts Receivable department by invoicing and collecting when needed to be able to prepare weekly A / R projection report.
- Assist with month end closing as needed.
- Manage and submit the W-4 and 1099 forms, payroll, IFTA and Sales and Use taxes
- Collections and forecasting revenues.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits / reviews and prepare necessary documentation.
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
