JOB SUMMARY :
This position supports the VP, Controller.
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and assisting with reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Assists the VP, Controller and local accounting staff with :
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- The month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, including documentation, testing, and reporting on internal controls
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Completing and issuing timely monthly financial records for Management
- Supporting the local accounting staff in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and day-to-day needs
- The annual budgeting process
