Cashier/Customer Service

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and friendly Cashier to join our team at a busy smoke shop. If you have a strong background in cashiering and enjoy delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide product information and recommendations to enhance sales opportunities.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in Smoke shop industry and retail sales preferred .
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products is highly valued.
• Must be comfortable operating a cash register and handling various payment methods.

Pay: From $15.49 per hour
