Key Responsibilities
- Engage in a structured training schedule consisting of Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with potential weekend shifts during holiday periods.
- Participate in a preceptorship that includes three 12-hour shifts per week, along with every other weekend, in alignment with your preceptor's schedule.
- Achieve critical certifications such as BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules throughout the program.
- Attend all segments of the program, demonstrating commitment and dedication to training.
- Commit to a minimum two-year full-time engagement with the hospital, with understanding of potential educational cost repayment for early termination.
- Strong communication abilities and self-motivation are essential for success in this role.
- Team-oriented mindset and the capacity to collaborate effectively with mentors and healthcare professionals.
- Previous experience in the medical or service sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be a recent graduate from an accredited nursing school within the past 12 months.
- No more than 6 months of RN experience, ideally less than 2 months in a hospital setting and no more than 6 months in nursing home or home health environments.
- A current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure is required prior to program commencement. If you possess a compact license, an active Florida RN license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Candidates who exhibit a genuine passion for patient care will be highly regarded.
