Job Summary:
As the General Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel. You will lead department heads and team members to deliver exceptional service, manage budgets and performance goals, and ensure a smooth and memorable experience for every guest. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with a strong hospitality background and a passion for creating exceptional stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, events, and guest services
- Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial goals
- Ensure guest satisfaction through quality assurance and proactive service recovery
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and property appearance
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Monitor and improve performance through KPIs, reviews, and team meetings
- Collaborate with ownership and executive team to drive business goals
- Represent the hotel in the community and foster relationships with partners
Qualifications:
- 3 years of hotel management or hospitality leadership experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and guest service best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain high morale
- Tech-savvy with experience using PMS systems and basic office software
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
