We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, utilizing effective phone etiquette.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and reservations.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Assist housekeeping by stripping rooms of dirty linens and removing trash.
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
