UTILITY FOREMAN
Must have the ability, knowledge and experience to lead a crew in daily utility installation activities. A working knowledge of water, and sewer construction is also required.

- Collect delivery tickets and ensure accuracy of materials received

- Plan and coordinate Daily Hazard Briefings to ensure crew understands the work plan and the associated hazards of the day
- Report incidents immediately to Project Superintendent in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the Company
- Enter daily project data including but not limited to accurate labor, equipment, and quantity reporting
- Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met
- Operate equipment as needed
- Willingness to work hours as required
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with jobsite supervisors and fellow team members
- Experienced in erosion control installation, maintenance, and documentation
- Experienced in NCDOT roadway construction
- Must be able to effectively use all required PPE and lift up to fifty pounds. Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position. Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean MVR for at least 3 years
Education/Training/Certification:
- OSHA 30
- Trenching and Excavation Competent Person
- First Aid/CPR
- Level II Erosion Control Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
