- Monitors the behavior and the activity in the pool, ensuring a safe environment for swimming.
- Uses customer service skills to enforce the rules and guidelines of the Chatham County Aquatic Center.
- Responds to emergencies in a courteous, timely manner while providing clear instruction to members.
- Participates in in-service training.
- Maintains daily logs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- No previous lifeguard experience is necessary.
- Must be a minimum of fifteen (15) years of age.
- Current lifeguard certification is preferred.
- Lifeguards must take and pass the Red Cross Training Course.
Salary : $16
