Position Summary
Responsibilities include: supervision of a 3 -- 5 member maintenance crew, management of the property, management of budgeted hours for each property, communication with the customer, and notifying senior management of any changes in property management. Other responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and ensuring the use of safety equipment for all crew members.
Role Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience is a MUST
- Valid driver's license is REQUIRED
- Must be competent in Grounds skills as well as strong in organizational and motivational skills.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of horticultural practices and be familiar with CLS policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills, including English speaking and writing skills, required.
- Strong work ethic and dependability is essential for this position.
- Must be familiar with turf types, plant ID, chemicals and spraying practices, insects, disease and irrigation systems.
Position responsibilities
- In-field training of new employees and communication of Company standards on a daily basis. Management of each property assigned and 3 - 5 crew members.
- Completion and submittal of daily time sheets and all other required paperwork.
- Completion of daily vehicle log and communication with mechanic regarding any service/repairs to vehicles and equipment.
- Be responsive to team leadership, abide by Company policies, and display confidence to team members in training.
- Attend and be actively involved in Supervisors' meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures while operating any and all equipment.
- Inform Account Manager of problems that would require additional labor hours or specialty equipment in order to correct.
- Make sure that any damaged equipment is cleaned properly, tagged and placed in appropriate area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Account Manager.
