What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at Chatham non-profit organization?
Position: Administrator
Hours: Part time (20 /- hours per week)
Location: Work from home in office as needed
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and skills
Reports to: President
1. Provide administrative and operational support for committees and the Board of Directors.
2. Help maintain organization and membership records.
3. Interact with members to help ensure smooth operations.
4. Coordinate calendar of events and meetings.
5. Monitor e-mail account, and respond to phone, email, and web inquiries.
6. Collect posted mail, deposit checks and issue donation acknowledgement letters.
7. Assist with supervision of service providers (such as grounds maintenance, building janitor, security providers, etc).
8. Attend Board meetings and events when requested
This position requires a person comfortable with multiple tasks and responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and online communication skills are expected as is proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with updating websites, customer relationship management software, graphics and/or accounting programs a plus.
