Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and engineering principles, particularly within regulated environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that our systems comply with FDA regulations and CGMP standards while maintaining high-quality production processes. The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for analyzing processes, conducting quality inspections, and implementing effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize control systems to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Perform quality audits and maintain documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurements and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
  • Implement corrective actions based on analysis of data collected from quality inspections.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on quality control procedures and equipment usage.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, particularly in roles focused on quality control.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and other equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
  • Experience with quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
