What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Coordinator position at CHD Brand?
The Housing Coordinator works with Adult Clinical Community Services (ACCS) Persons to obtain and maintain permanent housing. The Housing Coordinator works within the Integrated Team to develop a focused strategy for each person as it relates to self-sufficiency, permanent housing, and strengthening economic stability and assists Persons in accessing all available entitlements. The Housing Coordinator builds and supports relationships with landlords, provides tenant education regarding rental and landlord responsibilities, transports Persons to relevant appointments as necessary, and supports activities of daily living.
Requirement
- Bachelors Degree in a related field or 1-2 years of experience in a mental health treatment program
- Experience with housing supports and/or managing affordable housing is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for work purposes is required.
