We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale our sales team while driving revenue growth through strategic leadership and hands-on sales execution. This role requires strong leadership, sales expertise, and a deep understanding of the roofing and solar industry (or a strong ability to learn quickly).

Role Summary

As the Sales Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sales process, managing a team of roofing and solar sales consultants, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met and exceeded . You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies , building strong customer relationships, and mentoring a high-performance team .

This is a hybrid role based in Winter Garden, FL , with the flexibility for some remote work . The ideal candidate has a proven track record of sales success , exceptional leadership skills, and experience in the roofing and / or solar industry (preferred but not required).

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Management :

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives specializing in roofing and solar sales .
  • Develop performance-driven sales processes to improve close rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, and incentive structures to drive motivation and results.
  • Conduct weekly sales training, coaching sessions, and ride-alongs to ensure professional growth.
  • Foster a high-energy, results-driven culture that prioritizes customer experience and revenue growth.

Sales Strategy & Execution :

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue .
  • Identify new business opportunities through lead generation, partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle , from prospecting to contract closing, ensuring high close rates.
  • Work with marketing teams to align sales strategies with digital campaigns, referral programs, and direct outreach efforts.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, roofing technologies, and solar innovations to enhance sales pitches.
  • Customer Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by handling escalations, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of service.
  • Develop customer engagement strategies , including educational materials on roofing & solar benefits.
  • Operational & Financial Responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee quoting, contracts, and pricing strategies to maintain profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data , providing reports to senior management with insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless execution of sold projects .
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting sales revenue for short-term and long-term planning.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record in sales management , preferably in roofing, solar, or home improvement industries .
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing sales teams .
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills , with the ability to handle complex sales cycles.
  • Experience with CRM systems , lead tracking, and sales performance analytics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, insurance claims, and solar technology (preferred, but training is available).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a strong sense of accountability .
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing , or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Military experience is a plus , as leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
