We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Vehicle Title & License Processor to join our team.
Job Summary
The Vehicle Title & License Processor is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and license plates while ensuring compliance with Illinois Secretary of State regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and fluency in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vehicle title and registration applications accurately and efficiently.
- Review and verify documents for completeness and compliance with Illinois regulations.
- Assist customers with title transfers, registration renewals, and license plate issuance.
- Communicate with the Illinois Secretary of State’s office and other agencies as needed.
- Provide bilingual assistance to customers, explaining processes and requirements in their preferred language.
- Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions while maintaining accurate records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve title and registration issues with customers and dealers.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in vehicle title processing, licensing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Illinois Secretary of State vehicle registration and title regulations is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
