Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Human Resources Coordinators Do
- Organize, maintain, and update employee HRIS information as needed in UKG (HR system).
- Compile weekly and monthly HR reports (payroll, benefits, talent acquisition).
- Support the full lifecycle of talent acquisition and on-boarding process for all employees which includes posting and closing jobs, preliminary screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Attend job and career fairs representing Checkered Flag in a professional manner.
- Assist with new hire orientation training program.
- Assist with benefits administration, which includes data entry, benefit packets, benefits meetings, and auditing invoices.
- Maintain employee files and documents for active and former employees.
- Assist with company social and volunteering events, other HR projects as needed.
- Provide customer service and assistance to employees and vendors by answering questions and requests.
- Provide support and guidance to the organization’s departments regarding HR policies, processes, and best practices.
Your Pre-Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years of general HR-related experience is required
- Working knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and procedures including recruiting, benefits, and leave
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- aPHR, PHR or SHRM-CP Certification a plus
- Experience with UKG or other HRIS applications
- Knowledge of the automotive industry a plus

Schedule: 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, with a flexible start option.
