Resort F&B Restaurant Manager at Cheeca Lodge & Spa: Elevating the Dining Experience
Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a luxurious resort in the heart of Islamorada, invites you to join our team as a Restaurant Manager. Our Restaurant Managers work as a team to oversee the restaurant operations of one of our renowned dining venues – Atlantic Edge, Mia Cucina, or Nikai. This role is crucial in driving our commitment to culinary excellence and unparalleled guest service in a luxury resort setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director and Assistant Director of F&B to optimize costs, enhance profits, and ensure unique and current dining experiences.
- Secure the restaurant's leading position in the competitive market.
- Analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the Director of F&B and staff to implement effective solutions.
- Serve as a key ambassador for Cheeca, actively participating in special events and promotions.
- Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to benefit the resort.
- Ensure adherence to the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and hygiene.
- Oversee guest satisfaction, ensuring excellent food quality and presentation.
- Manage all aspects of staff management, including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining in accordance with resort policies.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and conduct regular team briefings.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Managerial experience in food and beverage, including luxury resort experience.
- Excellent command of English with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work up to 10 hours a day as business needs dictate.
- Profound knowledge of food and beverage, and a thorough understanding of hotel services and facilities.
- Computer literate, with preferred skills in Excel and Spanish fluency.
- Must already be eligible to work in the USA - sorry no sponsorships.
