Internship Description
The Museum of Art is offering an internship for undergraduate (Junior or Senior class standing) or current graduate-level students working towards or with a degree in Art History, American Studies, Museum Studies, or other related fields. Recent graduates from such programs are also welcomed to apply. Intern will assist Museum staff with projects involving research of the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and collections care.

- Work with the curatorial team to research objects in the collection and upcoming exhibitions
- Review and organize materials relating to historical research
- Support and contribute to the development of interpretive materials
- Assist with tracking and recording object movements and locations
- Learn to operate EmbARK collections database to assist with object records, associated images and corresponding physical files.
- Participate in the installation/deinstallation of exhibitions
- Complete additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
- Junior or Senior class standing or recent graduate from an accredited college or universit .
- Have or pursing a degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or other related fields.
- Desire to work in a museum setting.
