Cheeney Landscaping, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our landscaping team as a Landscaping Technician. As a vital member of our crew, you will assist in various landscaping projects to enhance and maintain outdoor spaces for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Landscape Installation:
- Assist in the installation of landscape features such as planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, laying sod, and spreading mulch or gravel.
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding lawns and garden beds.
- Hardscape Construction:
- Aid in the construction of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fences.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and to our high standards of quality.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Basic understanding of landscape techniques and materials is a plus.
