The General Manager is ultimately responsible for his/her store’s successful operation and profitability. This person also supports hiring, on boarding, training and best practices for all area locations.
Car Wash/Management experience is required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead by example and showcase the standard for customer service, quality and cleanliness
• Create a positive and fun working environment
• Continuously educate store teams on products, services, promotions and/or operational initiatives
• Act as the store expert on the POS system, wash equipment, application processes and service initiatives
• In partnership with the Operations and Training Manager, hire or promote, train and evaluate Supervisors, Sales and Crew members
• Field and resolve customer or employee issues, partnering with CEO, Regional and District Management, Operations, Facilities, HR and Customer Service teams as needed.
• Manage the store level claims process
• Maintain proper chemical and supply inventory
• Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
• Proactively manage labor
• Write staff schedule and manage call outs
• Lead any other store level operational initiatives as needed
• Maintain, troubleshoot and complete general repairs on wash equipment
Essential:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the retail or customer service management
• Proven success in a Wash Leadership role
• Excellent customer service skills
Desirable:
• Understanding of wash of POS Systems, preferably DRB programming and customization
• Experience with wash chemicals and their application processes
• Cross trained in wash equipment troubleshooting and general repair
Potential Salaried Position: up to $100k/year with bonus opportunities.
