Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality sushi dishes in accordance with restaurant recipes and standards.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients and fish.
- Craft a variety of sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar and kitchen areas.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and supervise junior sushi chefs and kitchen staff.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef with a solid track record in sushi preparation.
- Excellent understanding of various sushi preparation techniques and knife skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creativity in sushi crafting and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience is preferred.
