What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Bookkeeper position at Chef David Burke?
```Duties:```
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization's locations
- Restaurant experience preferred (Labor Costs, Food Costs, etc)
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring bills are paid on time and accurately recorded
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform journal entries and account reconciliations
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Utilize QuickBooks software to record financial transactions and maintain financial record
-Have transportation to move to the different sites in Monmouth County.
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
