Event Manager
At Chef David’s Catered events our passion is creating delicious meals that accompany memorable events for families. The staff that creates these experiences for our clients is critical to the success of our family-owned business. The office administrator/event manger is the first person our clients interact with and must demonstrate the following skills.
Skills and Competencies

- Exceptional organizational skills and detailed oriented with clients, internal staff and vendors.
- Overall team player that is willing to assist catering staff and chefs to complete all tasks.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical knowledge includes Outlook, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks
- Passion for delivering an exceptional experience to our clients.
Job Description and Work Expectations
- Communicate on phone, email or fax with clients, vendors, and employees – maintain quick response time (within 12 hrs.).
- Maintain filing system for all client inquiries.
- Schedule all appointments to go over event details and menu options to customize menu proposals with clients.
- Write, review, and submit menu proposals with Chef David in a timely manner.
- Conduct weekly meetings with the staff on the upcoming weeks activities.
- Responsible for complete event management and communicating orders with timelines to all necessary staff.
- Communicate with managers to evaluate work procedures, review catering standards, identify methods for increasing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate list of venues and vendor contacts.
- Manage monthly sales and expenses
- Enter various data in the office computer system.
- Process customer invoice in Quick Books & VIA POS System (Stripe)
Experience
- 1 year of office administrative or event management experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
