Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist waitstaff by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Support kitchen staff by assisting with food handling tasks, such as restocking supplies or organizing utensils.
- Ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests’ needs and responding promptly to requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
