This is Chef Loong Dim Sum in West Ashley, We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or providing information as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service roles is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- A background in hospitality or guest services will be an advantage in this role.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
