What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Person / Salad Preparer PART-TIME position at Chef's Restaurant?
PART-TIME ** 1-2 WEEKDAYS / EVERY SATURDAY **
- Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables, setting decorations, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, and cleaning chalkboards.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs.
- Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations.
- Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables and sweeping
- Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Prepares salads for guests neatly and properly to order
- Slice and portion bread
- Utilizes appropriate portion size according to standards
- Maintains personal hygiene and neatness according to departmental standards
- Utilizes gloves according to departmental standards
- Uses hair restraints according to departmental standards
- Reports to work in a regular and timely fashion
- Gathers produce items and canned fruits for daily use and stores in assigned refrigerator
- Promptly stores prepared items in refrigerator to maintain proper temperatures
- Utilizes clean aprons, towels and sanitation buckets as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
