Secondary Market Specialist (E3)
Chelsea Groton is looking to hire motivated and dynamic individuals for our Retail Lending department. The Secondary Market Specialist will be responsible for managing the delivery of mortgage loans to the secondary market, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Your expertise will help us optimize our mortgage portfolio and enhance our financial performance. Responsibilities and Requirements vary based on job level. Expectations include:
- Acts as primary contact for loan delivery for the secondary market. Prepares and submits monthly investor loan sales report to the Secondary Market & Encompass Administrator and Chief Lending Officer.
- Manages the member experience whose loan is sold servicing released. Coordinates with all service released investor’s proper payment credit and credit reporting for all affected borrowers. Contacts members shortly after funding to explain the loan transfer process.
- Supports as back up administrator on various systems such as FNMA, FHLMC, CHFA, FHA, VA, USDA, etc. and any others as directed by the Secondary Market Loan Administration Manager or the Chief Lending Officer.
- Acts as backup for lock desk functions, including but not limited to rate related questions, reviewing and either accepting or denying profile change requests in Optimal Blue.
- Assists with on-going software coding as needed.
