ASIC Design Manager for IC Design Services
Dallas, Texas (onsite / hybrid)

Responsibilities:
• Design planning, proposal and execution of high-performance mixed-signal ICs from concept to production
• Management representation interfacing cross-functionally and with key customers
• Lead the proactive evolution and instilling of best practices to improve business performance, engineering efficiency, and repeatable quality results across the company
• Recruit, train and manage and growing world-class design engineering team to deliver results with integrity, commitment, and excellence for a wide variety of ASIC and SOC applications
• Represent company in negotiations with suppliers, IP vendors and foundries
• Customer satisfaction and quality of deliverables for all projects
• Develop accurate schedules and resource estimates
• Support quality management continuous improvement activities at the business and team level
• Evaluate and deliver on performance metrics for team by communicating individual and team goals with remote and local team members effectively
• Continuously grow yourself and your team’s performance through proactive thinking on personal, design and technology training
• Ability to be hands-on and flexible across multiple functional roles from leading the design, layout or verification team and phases from proposal to production supply chain management
• Manage your team’s financial and project objectives as well as proactively seeking out new business opportunities
Qualifications:
• BSEE/MSEE or in applicable field with 8 years of experience, or equivalent
• Proven record of technical project leadership success developing integrated circuits
• Must have thorough understanding of best practices for silicon development tools and processes
• Strong communication, debugging and analytical skills with complex technical concepts
• Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies and design applications preferred
• Role requires candidate to be approved under ITAR compliance requirements
