Chelsea Soccer Club is dedicated to providing a positive and competitive environment for youth soccer players of all skill levels. We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Goalkeeper Coach to lead specialized training sessions for our goalkeepers.
Job Description:
The Goalkeeper Coach will be responsible for running five (5) training sessions throughout the season. Each session will last two hours, and the coach can select the night that works best for their schedule, with a strong preference for Monday evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct high-quality goalkeeper training sessions focused on technical skills, positioning, shot-stopping, distribution, and overall game awareness.
- Work with goalkeepers of various age groups and skill levels to develop their abilities.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for players.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a goalkeeper and/or goalkeeper coach preferred.
- Strong knowledge of goalkeeper-specific training methods and techniques.
- Ability to engage and motivate youth players.
- USSF or United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping certifications (preferred but not required).
- Reliable transportation to training sessions in Chelsea, MI.
