Chem Gro is seeking a self motivated and detail oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage the A/P invoice flow throughout the company along with various accounting and clerical duties to keep operations and accounts current, company wide.
This position offers a unique insight into the world of agriculture through working with farmers and grain on a daily basis, while maintaining a complex and fast paced environment for those who prefer to work in an office setting. Since we are working in an agricultural setting, some evenings and weekends will be required during the spring and fall seasons.
An ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, with previous similar experience in a billing or accounting position, and knowledge of both Google Sheets and Excel; as well as good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn. Knowledge and experience of the agricultural industry would be a plus. Compensation for this role will be based upon a number of factors, and we also offer a robust benefits package for all full time employees.
Day to day job duties will vary, responsibilities will include the following:
- Process inventory Bill of Ladings, purchase orders & invoices
- Process Anhydrous Ammonia invoicing
- Tracking new acquisitions
- Reconciling miscellaneous invoices and rebills
- Reconciling and managing the company cell phone account
- Order misc office supplies as needed
- Process misc 1099s
- Run miscellaneous labor & tax reports
- Help facilitate customer events
- Answer phones as needed
- Seasonally help run grain scales on some nights and weekends
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Google Sheets & Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail
- Accurate record keeping skills
