Role Responsibilities:
- Operating various laboratory instruments in performing compliance, quantitative, and analytical measurements
- Perform quality control testing on all in-process and finished products.
- Test incoming raw materials and collect their certificate of analysis as required.
- Calculate and determine adjustments for in-process products.
- Assist with QC troubleshooting as needed.
- Keep complete and accurate quality control records.
- Work with production to ensure cGMP policies and procedures follow SOP guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Review and maintain batch records, operational logs, SOPs, validation and qualification protocols, and reports.
- Initiate, review, and follow up on nonconformance's, change controls, deviations, and CAPAs to ensure timely processing and closing.
- Ensure a controlled, compliant, standardized, and timely completion of all Quality processes and procedures.
- Maintain the rotation of the retain samples and keep the cabinets in an organized manner.
- Housekeeping: dispose of retains, wash bottles and glassware.
- Assist with lab production of small batches/ samples as required.
- Assist in performing calculations for reworking obsolete product inventory.
- Monitor operations and communicate required changes to Quality and Production Management
- Create all Certificate of Analysis for all blended products.
- Support production in preventative maintenance and calibration measures
- Assist with all physical releases of both batches and finished goods as required.
- Perform other duties of quality department and quality control checks as required
- Learn lab procedures and methods and perform testing as required
- Contribute to ideas for process improvement and compliance updates

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated hard work ethic and a proven reliable work record.
- Quality control experience in a production environment with knowledge of good manufacturing practices (cGMP) is an asset.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language (bilingual is a plus).
- Possess good organization skills and ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Possess a high level of skill with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentage composition, units of measure, and product quantities.
- Ability to read and interpret job related documents.
- Possess good written/oral communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- High school graduate

Based on individual states’ employment laws, the salary range for this position is $22.00 to 25.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate, including experience and location.
