Chemi-Flex is an innovative U.S. manufacturing company that has been in business for over 50 years and is a recognized leader in the custom manufacturing of urethane timing belts and its related products. Our facility is ISO 9001 : 2015 certified.
We are seeking a first shift, machinist\tool maker who will report to the tool room foreman.
This job is not a production environment. The tool room is to support our manufacturing of polyurethane timing belts and other cast products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform close tolerance work on lathes, mills, grinders, and hobbing machines.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, and detailed instructions to perform machining operations.
- Ensure that the tool room equipment is functioning and properly maintained.
- Perform inspections of tools prior to release to Production for first article molding.
- Perform machining operations on all equipment including CNC equipment.
