Production Worker
Job Description:
The production worker is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products on a production line, performing quality checks, maintaining production flow, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards by accurately following established procedures, while adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Machinery: Feed materials into production machinery, monitor machine operations, adjust settings as needed, and identify and report machine malfunctions.
Assembly: Assemble components on the production line, ensuring proper alignment and quality of finished products.
Quality Control: Conduct basic quality checks on products throughout the production process, identifying and identifying defective items.
Production Monitoring: Monitor production flow, identify potential issues, and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Packaging and Labeling: Pack finished products according to specifications, including proper labeling and storage.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas and machinery according to safety protocols.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and ability to identify defects in products.
Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machinery operation and troubleshooting skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a production team to meet deadlines.
Basic Math Skills: Ability to read measurements and perform simple calculations.
Following Instructions: Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
Graduation from accredited high school
Previous manufacturing experience is a Plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.96 - $16.56 per hour
