Responsibilities
- Efficiently package products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and labeled correctly.
- Operate pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform tasks accurately and in a timely manner to fulfill customer requests.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory management practices, including tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, adhering to best practices for workplace safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is beneficial
- Knowledge of inventory management processes will be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
