What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at KOOKS CUSTOM HEADERS INC?
Description
- Warehouse activities include the handling, shipping, and receiving of raw and manufactured/ completed materials, parts, and products.
- Maintain the warehouse packaging and cleanliness of the building.
- Proactively work with supervisors, management, and other employees to implement efficient packing, inventory, and shipping processes.
- Ensure the quality of parts is maintained and notify the lead/manager if they are not.
- Maintain box stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience and working knowledge of UPS/ FedEx shipping processes and requirements preferred.
- Microsoft 365 windows, Excel, Teams.
- Ability to pick up fifty (50) lbs. regularly.
- Reading a tape measure.
- Ability to repeat the same procedure throughout the day.
- Prolonged periods of up to 8 hours standing on hard surfaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- High School Diploma or GED
