Responsibilities:
As a Plumbing Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative, your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of plumbing jobs and delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Job Organization and Assignment:
Efficiently organize and assign plumbing jobs to the appropriate plumber.
Consider factors such as geographical location, plumber's expertise, type and urgency of the call, etc., for optimal dispatching.
- Schedule Management:
Handle changes in schedules, including customer reschedules, cancellations, and inquiries.
Keep customers informed throughout the day regarding the plumber's estimated time of arrival (ETA) and notify them promptly of any changes.
- Job Closure and Documentation:
Ensure each job is closed out accurately by the plumber.
Verify payment collection, completion of necessary forms, and thorough job notes before dispatching the plumber to the next assignment.
- Customer Interaction:
Respond to all SMS messages from customers promptly and professionally.
Act as a backup for customer service representatives, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Minimum Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from our office in Norcross.
- 2-3 or more years of customer service experience preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in plumbing dispatching or a related dispatching field.
- Sufficient auditory and visual acuity to operate computer-aided call management hardware, software, and communications equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Compensation: $20-25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, working at our office in Norcross.
