Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate medical professionals and supervisors
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
-Ability/Desire to coordinate/participate with clients in day activities/ exercise.
- Follow all resident rights policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and dignity of clients
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of I.D. & dementia care and hospice care/techniques and strategies for individuals with disabilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
-Must pass background check/finger print/drug/medical clearance ( TB test or Chest X-Ray)
- First aid/CPR certification is required.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
-Ability/Desire to Training will be provided once employed.
